Umbrella - the slow walker in the long river of history

Umbrella --- the most ordinary protection throughout the ages

From ancient times to the present, many things have evolved, especially for tools such as tools, which need to be constantly updated to meet people's needs. But looking at the brief history of the evolution of the umbrella, from the first leaves to today's smart umbrellas, it may be the slowest product to evolve. Even if you take a modern foldable umbrella and travel back to ancient times, the ancients may recognize that this is an umbrella, used to cover the rain.

Legend one

In the Yaoshun period 4,000 years ago, the most primitive umbrella appeared, which was made of plant leaves to cover the head in the shape of an umbrella to cover the sun and rain. The first artificially made umbrella appeared more than 3,000 years ago during the Zhou Dynasty, when King Wu of Zhou saw soldiers with lotus leaves on top of them, and was suddenly inspired, so he asked a skilled craftsman to make a thing that could be used for the soldiers according to the pattern of the lotus leaf skeleton. And this skilled craftsman naturally lived up to expectations, so the original artificial umbrella was born.

Legend two

It is said that Lu Ban worked for the people in the countryside every day, and his wife Yun Shi brought him food every day, and was drenched on rainy days and exposed to the scorching sun on sunny days. Luban could not bear his wife's suffering, so he built a pavilion every other section next to it, so that it was convenient for his wife to walk. However, the summer rain always comes and goes, and the wife says that it would be nice to have a pavilion with her. Luban listened to his wife's thoughts, and the hut suddenly opened, thinking about how to make a pavilion that he could carry with him. One day, Luban saw the children with lotus leaves under the scorching sun, and immediately had inspiration, picked a lotus leaf and went back to study, and soon the first umbrella was born.
